Our Services

Glaucoma
Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness in the United States, especially for the elderly.

LASIK
LASIK is a shortened term standing for "Laser in SITU Keratomileusis". This procedure corrects the refractive errors of the eye using the Excimer laser.

Cataracts
A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye. It can be compared to a window that is frosted or "fogged" with steam. Common symptoms of cataract include.

Diabetic Retinopathy
Diabetic retinopathy is a complication of diabetes that is caused by changes in the blood vessels of the eye.

Refractive Surgery
Until recently, glasses and contact lenses have been the only options available to correct refractive errors. Refractive surgery is now an option for some people with myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism.

Macular Degeneration
Macular Degeneration is damage or breakdown of the macula of the eye. The macula is a small area at the back of the eye that allows us to see fine details clearly. When the macula doesn't function correctly, we experience blurring or darkness in the center of our vision.

Detached and Torn Retina

A retinal detachment occurs when the retina is pulled away from its normal position. The retina does not work when it is detached. Vision is blurred, like a camera picture would be blurry if the film were loose inside the camera.
