TOLEDO, Ohio - Nick Eno tried his best to hold off the 16th-ranked Wolverine attack, but an early Michigan surge was enough to bury Bowling Green 4-1.
The Wolverines victory was revenge for the Falcons winning 4-2 the previous night in Ann Arbor.
Down 2-0 after Michigan goals by Carl Hagelin and A.J. Treais, Marc Rodriguez put Bowling Green on the scoreboard. However, just over a minute later, Brian Lebler closed out the first-period scoring to give Michigan a 3-1 lead.
Eno was brilliant the rest of the way even as the Falcons were being dominated on the ice. Michigan outshot BG 30-12 for the game, but after the first period, the Wolverines were only able to convert one more opportunity.
Michigan improved its record to 5-7 while BGSU fell to 2-9-1 on the year.
