TOLEDO, Ohio - It was the second straight close game for the Toledo men. Unfortunately, it was still their 14th straight loss.

UT lost to Buffalo 65-59.

The Rockets got off to a hot start and led at the half 38-37 after shooting 61.5% in the first 20 minutes. Buffalo would fight back to lead 59-53 on a John Boyer 3-pointer, only to see UT's Jake Barnett tie the game at 59 with about 4:40 left in the game on a driving layup where he was fouled. Barnett didn't make the ensuing free throw, but even worse for the Rockets, they didn't score a single point the rest of the way.
