BG men win season opener

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - In slammin' fashion, the Bowling Green men won their basketball season opener over Wayne State 67-45.
Otis Polk led the jam session with three dunks on the way to 14 points. Points-wise, Scott Thomas spurred the effort with 15 points, including four three-pointers.
Bowling Green made their move right before half, scoring 13 unanswered to carry a 39-22 lead into the half.
They never looked back after that and, as a result, the Falcons didn't wait long to win their first game of the year.
