Ozzie Canseco stops by Hens game

TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - Ozzie Canseco, often confused for his brother Jose, stopped by Fifth Third Field to catch some of the Hens game a day before he'll be an actor at the ballpark.

Ozzie, like his brother a former major league outfielder, had several fans take double takes as he walked past the suites. He says it's usually hard for him to go to the ballpark considering the constant identity confusion.

But on the bright side, he loved being back at the ballpark. Canseco said that Fifth Third Field is better than any minor league park that he remembers and that it reminded him of his playing days when he was hitting home runs.

That's something he'll be doing in his role as a big basher. Jose will actually have the same role in a movie that'll be filmed at Fifth Third Field from Thursday through Saturday. Fans will have an opportunity to be cast in the flick as an extra if they show up at the following times:

• Thursday 3:30-8 p.m.
• Friday 3:30-8 p.m.
• Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Other stars in the movie include Dean Cain from "Lois & Clark" and Barry Bostwick of "Spin City" fame.
