TOLEDO, Ohio - You might as well call it a Rogers High School pipeline to Toledo. QB E.J. Tucker has verbally committed to play football for the Rockets next year.

Tucker joins teammate Ray Bush as incoming Toledo football players for next season. The Rockets already have former Rogers players Isiah Ballard and Myshawn Veasley-Pettis.

Tucker was perhaps the most highly recruited out of the bunch. Michigan State wanted him as a defensive back. Ultimately, it came down to Toledo and Cincinnati, and the Rockets won out.

Tucker's commitment is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent.
