TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - While two Northwest Ohio teams were competing in Columbus in their state semifinal games, over at Central Catholic students and teachers held a pep rally for the Fighting Irish.

And talk about a grand entrance. Look at all the confetti.

Thursday afternoon the school held a pep rally to send the team off to the state Div. I final four in grand style.

Central Catholic (20-3) has not advanced this far in the state tournament since 1949.

CC will face Cincinnati LaSalle (24-2) at 5:15 p.m. in the first Div. I state semifinal at Value City Arena in Columbus.
