Waite girls dominate

NORWALK, Ohio - The Waite girls made an extremely loud and clear statement with a 73-34 regional semifinal win over Lorain Southview on Tuesday night.

Natasha Howard led the way with 28 points and Shanice McNeal added 21 more as the Indians dominated play. At one point, Waite made a 41-7 run to blow the game wide open.

The Indians now advance to the regional finals where they'll take on another team from Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, after the Lady Jackets defeated Broadview Heights 44-36.
