Former Central star, OU win 2nd straight MAC crown

TOLEDO, Ohio - Former Central Catholic star Ellen Herman's legacy continued to grow Sunday when she and her Ohio Bobcats won their second straight MAC volleyball title and their sixth in seven years.
OU defeated Western Michigan in four games (25-19, 25-18, 16-25, 25-19).
Herman finished with 23 kills, but she truly stood out late in the clinching game. She had two kills and a block point as part of the Bobcats' final five points.
Last week, Herman was named the MAC player of the year for the second straight season. She's also already Ohio University volleyball's all-time points leader.
