Stainbrook upset over BOE firing

DOWNTOWN TOLEDO - Lucas County Republican Party Chairman Jon Stainbrook was upset over the termination of a Republican supervisor who was on the county board of elections.

County board officials said Thursday morning the supervisor did nothing wrong but her position was eliminated because of restructuring.

Stainbrook refuted saying that people are not fired for not doing anything wrong. He then accused the board of making back-door deals.
