TOLEDO - Experiencing grief is something that is inevitable for everyone.

Dealing with it can be tough.

Bereavement services at Hospice of Northwest Ohio can help ease the pain.

"Following a death, people go through a period of adjustment - just getting used to living their lives without that person who was very meaningful to them," said Maureen Cervenec, Director of Social Services. "The whole idea of bereavement counseling is to support people through that journey."

When the staff at Hospice gets a call from someone who has just lost a loved one, members of the social services department will match them with the therapy that's best for them be it individual counseling or group therapy.
