TOLEDO, Ohio - The new Digital Bookmobile stopped at the Sanger Branch Library, 3030 W. Central Ave. on Friday, bringing the ability to download electronic media to area residents.

The bookmobile is touring Ohio through the end of August. It will be stationed at the Sanger Branch Library until 4 p.m. Friday.

The new bookmobile stretches 74 feet and sits on 18 wheels, but its most prized features are its broadband Internet capabilities, high-definition monitors, variety of portable media players and, what any good ride needs, a premium sound system.

The bookmobile allows its visitors the ability to search through its digital media collection, sample eBook and audiobooks, listen to music, watch video and sync up supported mobile devices with the vehicle's system.

Instructional videos are available on the Digital Bookmobile so, even after its departure, area residents can access and enjoy every type of media and resource offered at the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.
