SOUTH TOLEDO - Hundreds of people packed Friendship Baptist Church in South Toledo to take on several issues within the community Monday night.
Toledoans United for Social Action (TUSA) was formed back in 1992 to bring area churches together to address things like education, housing and jobs.
“Faith to us is not just sitting in a church building,” said Glass City Church of Christ Pastor, Robert Birt. “We want to get outside of the walls of church buildings and get into the community and make a difference, just like Jesus did.”
Local leaders were in attendance to hear the groups’ concerns ( read the list ).
