DOWNTOWN TOLEDO - The Mud Hens were already going to have a fireworks show on the 4th of July.

Fans just didn't know that the fireworks would come early too.

Jeff Larish started things off with a 2nd-inning bomb, followed by a 4-run 3rd inning, and a 2-run 4th.

The Hens did their party bashing against Indians prospect Zach Jackson. Jackson gave up 7 earned runs over 6 innings.

On the other hand, Eddie Bonine went 7 strong innings for Toledo. He gave up 3 earned runs with 3 strikeouts and no walks.

Will Rhymes led the Toledo bats by going 2-3 with 3 RBI. Meanwhile, Larish finished 2-4 with his home run and 2 runs driven in.

Fausto Carmona pitches for the Clippers against the Hens at Fifth Third Field on Sunday.
