TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo police issued warrants for the arrest of two bar patrons who were allegedly involved in the hectic Oct. 8 shootout at the Route 66 Kitchen Bar and Grill near the University of Toledo campus.
Investigators are looking for 32-year-old Marquese Robbins and 38-year-old Lashon Sawyer.
Detectives on Friday charged Robbins with four counts of felony assault while Sawyer is charged with firearms discharge and having a weapon in liquor permit premises.
"Neither are in custody at this time," said Toledo Deputy Police Chief Don Kenney. "Both have retained lawyers. One wants to work out a deal with us, but we are not in the mood to negotiate. "We'll get them with or without their cooperation."
Detectives are also working to identify more witnesses and the remaining shooters from the incident.
