DOWNTOWN TOLEDO - Officials with the city of Toledo appeared in Toledo municipal court Monday in hopes of trying the Route 66 Kitchen Bar and Grill shut down for good.
The bar near the University of Toledo was the scene of an Oct. 8 wild shootout. The judge set a hearing for Dec. 7.
The bar's owner said he will keep the bar closed until the court hearing.
One of the alleged shooters named last week turned himself into police Monday.
Lashon Sawyer, 38, who surrendered to police, is charged with firearms discharge and having a weapon inside a bar.
Detectives are actively pursuing 32-year-old Marquese Robbins, who is charged with four counts of felony assault.
If you know where Robbins is, or have information that can assist police in the Oct. 8 shooting at the bar, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at (419) 255-1111. You can remain anonymous.
The incident remains under investigation.
