TOLEDO, Ohio - A group of Toledo pastors say the recent shooting at Route 66 bar gives Toledo and the community a black eye. They are calling for the 6 people involved to turn themselves in.
That shoot out happened last week Thursday and still Toledo Police have not arrested anyone involved in the bar brawl.
The church leaders met in the parking lot of that bar Thursday
afternoon. They say what happened is not Toledo, is not the norm
for this community and is hurting those that live here.
Pastors like Reverend Cedric Brock of Mt. Nebo Baptist
Church, feels the best way to move on from this horrific incident
is to urge those responsible to turn themselves in.
“It was like the wild wild west, it's unacceptable, we have good people living here that have been living here for years, who owned homes and they struggle and they don't need this on their community to black ball because of this."
Police are still looking for the 6 people responsible for this
shoot out at Route 66 last Thursday.
They are facing a range of charges from having a gun inside a
bar to attempted murder.
