BOWLING GREEN - Bowling Green State University continues to deal with challenges in this economy, but the university it still recruiting students despite tough times.
On Thursday, President Carol Cartwright spoke to students, faculty and staff inside the Student Union. Right now, about 18-thousand students are enrolled. But the state's budget for education is being cut, reducing B-G-S-U's state budget by more than 8-million next fiscal year. But thanks to private donations, plans to renovate academic buildings on campus is already in the works.
