Heroes in Action provides military family support

WEST TOLEDO - A military family support group in Toledo is offering a more personal approach to help families cope with the pressures and stress war can cause a loved one.
Heroes in Action hosts the meeting every last Monday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church on Monroe Street in West Toledo.
“I’ve had a family member come home with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder),” said Dawn Heisler, Heroes in Action Director. “I’ve seen all the struggles and everything that goes on and trying to get them help and its difficult because families don’t know where to go or what to do.”
