NORTH TOLEDO, Ohio - A 23-year-old man riding his bicycle was shot and killed late Friday morning on Maywood Avenue near Stickney Avenue, the second fatal shooting death in Toledo in 13 hours.
The victim, identified as Carl M. Drake, was pronounced dead about an hour later at Marcy St. Vincent Medical Center.
Mr. Drake was shot at around 10:17 a.m., police said. According to witnesses, a neighbor on Maywood head the sound of gunfire, and saw the victim laying in the street.
The man was conscious when responders arrived.
Police have no suspects or motives for this fatal shooting.
