TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - Jack Meyers, a junior at St. Francis High School, is working with Zip for the Cure, which is aiming to cure juvenile diabetes one Zip Code at a time.

The national program aims to raise $100 in donations from every Zip Code in the United States.

Jack, who also suffers from the disease, is the state captain for Ohio.

"Diabetes is my life," he said. "I've had it since I was 10 months old and any way to raise money for research or to get a cure, I'm in."

In case you're counting, there are 1,435 Zip Codes in Ohio.
