TOLEDO, Ohio (WPW) - Toledo unions and council members did not receive that promised list of layoffs Friday.
Mayor Mike Bell's office said the layoff list will be delivered Monday, along with the actual 30-day layoff notices.
Mass layoffs are the mayor's "Plan B." If other things can be done to plug the $48.2 million deficit, layoffs may not be needed.
A balanced budget needs to be approved by March 31 per the city's charter.
