United Way demolition approved

TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - The Toledo-Lucas County Plan Commission voted 3-to-2 to approve the demolition of the United Way of Greater Toledo building.
“We’re please the commission voted in favor of our demolition request,” said Bill Kitson, president and CEO of United Way of Greater Toledo. “Once we have final approval we‚ll be moving forward. We hope to get our revitalization plan behind us.”
A 10-day waiting period is required before any demolition can commence.
