Lake Twp police chief involved in accident

VILLAGE OF MILLBURY, Ohio - Lake Township Police Chief Mark Hummer was involved in a serious crash Wednesday afternoon in the Pemberville and Walbridge roads intersection that likely totaled his Chevrolet Tahoe.
Chief Hummer said he was southbound around 1:30 p.m. when a westbound delivery truck pulled out in front of him. The chief said he "t-boned" the truck, probably totaling his police vehicle.
The delivery truck had the stop sign, Hummer said. The Ohio Highway Patrol was called to do the crash report.
