TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - Toledo police detectives said they have arrested and booked Terrance Pernell, wanted in the June 27 death of Ryland Garrett.
Mr. Garrett, 27, was gunned down on Bancroft Street outside the 101 Bar.
Police issued a warrant for Pernell's arrest in late July.
The murder suspect, also 27, was taken into custody in the 2200 block of Upton at around 7 p.m., police said.
He was arraigned Thursday morning in Toledo Municipal Court. Pernell remains in jail on $750,000 bond.

Terrance Pernell was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury on a murder charge in the June 2010 death of 27-year-old Ryland Garrett.
An arraignment is pending in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Terrance Pernell was found guilty Thursday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court of the June 2010 murder of 27-year-old Ryland Garrett.
Pernell was then sentenced to 18 years to life in prison.
Pernell's attorney said they plan to appeal.
