VILLAGE OF WHITEHOUSE, Ohio (WUPW) - Seventeen-year-old India Boyd, whose face is a handful of controversial billboards, said people are taking their message all wrong.

Boyd is featured on the MyGodMadeSex.com billboards put up by CedarCreek Church. The advertising hopes to peak the interest of teens and get them to the church's youth services.

But Boyd said there has been some negativity around the campaign because some don't understand the message.

"We're not telling kids it's okay to have sex," she said. "We're saying there's a reason it's here and it's being used in the wrong manner. " And my God made sex for this and not this. A lot of people are just taking this the wrong way."
