SANDUSKY, Ohio (WUPW) - In recent weeks an eclectic mix of celebrities from stage and screen as well as the sports world have visited Cedar Point.
Disney teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus took a break from filming her latest movie "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" in Detroit and spent a day at the Sandusky amusement park. Cedar Point cameras caught her riding the Millennium Force, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
NBA superstar LeBron James was seen, via many You Tube clips, playing basketball and walking around the park.
Dale Earnhardt, Jr., who was in Brooklyn, Mich., at Michigan International Speedway for last weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup, made a detour into Sandusky before the race for a meet and greet during the park's Wheels of Thunder event.
Finally, on Aug. 15, stage and screen star Hugh Jackman took a break from filming the futuristic film "Real Steel," also being filmed in Metro Detroit. Park cameras caught him on Top Thrill Dragster.
