DOWNTOWN TOLEDO - Former American Idol winner and country superstar Carrie Underwood has scheduled an April 24, 2010 concert at the Lucas County Arena.
Tickets went on sale Friday, Dec. 18, and within 26 minutes, her
Toledo concert date sold out. Arena officials said Underwood's
concert is the fastest sellout time so far for the two-month-old
arena.
This will be Underwood's second concert appearance in the Glass City. She performed June 10 at the SeaGate Convention Centre.
Underwood's Lucas County Arena concert follows follow American Idol alum Chris Daughtry, who performed Oct. 31, just weeks after the new arena opened.
Underwood's tour stop in Toledo is the second country act scheduled in 2010 at the new arena. Rascal Flatts, with special guest Darius Rucker, will perform Jan. 24.
Underwood's "Play On Tour" 45-day North American tour kicks off March 11. Craig Morgan and Sons of Sylvia will open.
