TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - Two local twin boys dealing with a variety of medical issues will celebrate their third birthday. A special benefit for Jayden and Regan Cassidy is being held to help their family pay with mounting medical bills.
The twins were born 13 weeks premature. Regan was born with cerebral palsy and has a tracheotomy and Jayden lost his hearing after he was born.
"The biggest concern at this point and why we've decided to do the benefit at this point is upcoming medical expenses." said Shelly Cassidy, grandma of the boys and the event's organizer. "He's been in and out of Cincinnati Children's Hospital with different procedures."
The benefit is at Cambridge Place on Alexis near Jackman on Saturday. There will be a mexican food bar, music and children's activities. The benefit starts at 5 p.m.
