Advertising sex

VILLAGE OF WHITEHOUSE, Ohio (WUPW) - CedarCreek Church is using an interesting advertising campaign to get some new visitors.

The church is using eye-catching billboards to promote its upcoming youth services.

As you might guess, the message is about sex. It's for a website called MyGodMadeSex.com.

Ben Snyder, student ministries director, said anytime the word sex is used, it's eye-catching, and it hopes these billboards will get teens in the doors on Sunday night.

"We believe that God made sex and he has a specific way it works best," Snyder said. "We want to present that message to students, whether they go to church on a regular basis or not, because we think it's really important."

The message will be presented for the next two weeks at CedarCreek Church's youth services on Sunday at all three locations in Toledo, Perrysburg and Whitehouse. The services start at 6 p.m.
