Reality show chef at Revolver

FINDLAY - A Findlay restaurant has come up with a plan to get more people in its door during the slow economy.

"Essentially during the dull, boring months of January and February we were coming up with ideas to generate some businesses and we decided to invite some old friends from Chicago down to come down and do guest chef appearances," said Michael Bulkowski , chef/owner of Revolver.

Revolver Restaurant in Findlay will have a reality show chef taking over its kitchen next month. Stephanie Izard , the winner of Bravo TV’s Top Chef Season 4 will host a special chef tasting April 24, 2009.

Chefs Izard and Bulkowski are old friends. They previously worked together at Spring Restaurant in Chicago. Bulkowski says he's sure the five course tasting menu his friend creates will introduce even more people to his establishment.

Bulkowski said, “We are always trying to reach out to people who haven't been to the restaurant yet and tap in to some undeveloped markets maybe, people who are interested in Food. You know, Foodies."
