TOLEDO - T. Diamond's a Glass City free-flowing artist who has all of the words and beats in his head.
The confident rapper's been creating jams since he was in the fifth grade, and now T. Diamond's using his talent to make a difference in other peoples lives.
The artist, who is with local record label Under Godz Entertainment, has been writing and continues to pen about life lessons, adding if he hasn't gone through it - don't expect to hear about it in one of his raps.
"You have to be confident because if you ain't, you're going to come off whack, so confidence is key," he said.
T. Diamond said it's all part of being an entertainer, and rolling with the performance.
"Improvising whatever comes. If I see you smiling, I'm going to play to you, go with the vibe, go with the feel - going with the mood and just putting on a great show."
But for T., the performance isn't the most important part of what he does.
"Usually when I spin a rap, I'm tryin to touch you, the listener. So my thing is hopefully I can say something to change your life, better your life, make you think positively about a situation that may have been negative."
The club track, 'Haterz Get Mad Cuz' - located on his music label's mySpace page - is an example of that. He says he wrote it after some personal experiences. He's received plenty of feedback from the fans.
"When I step on stage I'm an entertainer."
So far, the success has been good. T. Diamond's work has been featured on The Juice, 107.3 FM.
He hopes that people continue to give his raps a chance.
