TOLEDO, Ohio (WUPW) - Lucas County commissioner candidate, Republican George Sarantou, was stripped of a key union endorsement because as result of an incident that took place during Monday's Labor Day parade that did not directly involve him.
Sarantou, a Toledo city councilman, confirmed to FOX Toledo News that the Northwestern Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council removed his campaign sign outside union headquarters on Front Street and informed him his endorsement was being withdrawn.
