DOWNTOWN TOLEDO - In today's economy, people are chomping at the bit for jobs, and that means you can potentially be replaced if you aren't pulling your weight.
That's why Bruce Rumpf at Job 1 USA in Toledo says it's important to stand out at work, go the extra mile to get things done, or help a coworker.
It's important to make a name for yourself and show that you are hard at work, and invaluable.
"Every person out there currently employed should brand themselves within their own company," Rumpf said. "Who am I? what am I? Am I lazy or hard working? Smart? Willing to do it all? Or I only do it if I really have to, and I'm forced to do it."
Rumpf says a good attitude will also go a long way, especially
when you are asked to learn new ways of doing things, because it
will only help a company or business grow.
