BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - When it comes to a job search, you want to be aggressive and prepared. That's why hundreds of Bowling Green State University students showed up on Thursday in business attire with their resumes at this year's job fair.
With tough economic times most know a resume alone will not get them hired.
Allysa Tse, a junior at BGSU, has attended internship and job fair for the past three years because she believes in this day in age it's all about who you know.
"It's definitely a great opportunity networking meet all different kinds of people," she said.
One-hundred-twenty-five businesses attended the job fair. Most companies were searching for students to work in sales, management, manufacturing and accounting. Companies were also looking for students for internships.
"I want students to get internships and jobs, but even if they don't walk away with an opportunity today they will walk away with how competitive it is what they'll do differently next time," said Career Center Executive Director, JoAnn Kroll.
