Kelly Miner is a reporter for FOX Toledo News First at 4 and 10 and FOX Toledo News Weekend.

Kelly joined FOX Toledo News in February 2006 and previous to working at Four Seagate she was a part-time news writer for WXYZ in Detroit, her hometown.

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science Degree form Eastern Michigan University, with a concentration in telecommunications and film. She's a 1998 graduate of the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Fla., and earned her Master's Degree in public administration from Saginaw Valley State University.

From 1997 - 2002 she was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor in Saginaw, Mich., and from 1994-97 a general assignment reporter / health reporter and public affairs co-anchor in Lansing.

Before working in Michigan's state capital, Kelly interned in Louisville at WAVE-TV and interned at WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Kelly has always been driven toward television and broadcasting since an early age. She hosted her first cable access TV show at the age of 15 in Southfield, Mich.

During her college years she managed to earn 10 internships in Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia.

Kelly has received numerous awards for her work and community service. She is most proud of her "The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I Have A Dream Essay Contest," and she has been a member of the National Association of Black Journalists since 1992. Kelly's a member of the NAACP and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
