Tiffany Tarpley

Tiffany Tarpley anchors and produces FOX Toledo News Weekend and also reports during the week.

In 2008, Tiffany was named Fox Toledo's employee of the year earning a place in Lin Television's Circle of Excellence and a trip to Nassau, Bahamas.

During that same year the weekend team was awarded an Emmy for Outstanding Weekend Newscast.

Before making her way to FOX Toledo in October 2004 as a general assignment reporter, Tiffany worked as an editor, photographer, and fill-in reporter at WTOL across town here in the Glass City.

She then moved to Lima in Allen County where she anchored and reported for WOHL and WLMO, the FOX / CBS affiliate.

While attending college at Bowling Green State University, Tiffany was an anchor, reporter and producer for BG24 News, a student-run and student-operated television station.

A native of Lorain, Ohio she earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism degree from BGSU and the honor of Broadcast Journalism Student of the Year.

Tiffany also held several internships in public relations, broadcast journalism and entertainment television. She has worked at The Electric Power Supply Association in Washington, D.C., WEWS News Channel 5 in Cleveland, and Black Entertainment Television Network in New York City.

Tiffany stays active in the Glass City. From banquets to classrooms, she’s spoken at a variety of events in the community. She's a mentor at Chase Elementary School and has also taken on the challenge of substitute teaching, giving her a newfound respect for educators.

Currently, Tiffany is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, Kappa Tau Alpha Journalism Honorary and Friendship Full Gospel Baptist Church.
